Inmedius Awarded Patent for Electronic Viewing System

Company Demonstrates Continued Delivery of Innovative Technology

June 18, 2008 – Pittsburgh, PA Inmedius, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been issued Patent Number 7,386,436 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its electronic viewing system technology. The patent, “Viewing System that Supports Multiple Electronic Document Types”, covers core technology relating to the methods used in displaying Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM). Utilizing an IETM, users are able to locate required information more quickly and easily than is possible with traditional paper-based publications.

Supporting multiple electronic document types and standards, such as S1000D™, DITA, MIL-PRF-87269, and ATA iSpec 2200, the patented electronic document display technology is used across multiple Inmedius products and applications, including; Inmedius Publisher™, Flexaview™ and S1000Dinteract™. The technology will continue to be a cornerstone in future Inmedius viewing systems.
