Lockheed Martin IS&S Utilizes Inmedius® Solution
S1000D™ Publishing Suite™ Software to Support TSAT Mission Operations System

PITTSBURGH, PA – October 4, 2007  Inmedius, Inc. announced a multi-user, multi-year contract with Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems & Solutions (IS&S) for the use of its S1000D™ Publishing Suite to support the production of electronic documentation for Lockheed Martin’s Transformational Communications Satellite (TSAT) Mission Operations System (TMOS). The comprehensive, Commercial-Off-The Shelf (COTS) software met the authoring and presentation needs of TMOS to capture, create, manage and deploy technical information assets, supporting the documentation lifecycle. The Inmedius contract also includes maintenance, onsite training and consulting services.

Lockheed Martin IS&S provides transformational solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; command and control; communications; and combat support to the U.S. Department of Defense and the intelligence community. A $2 billion Department of Defense contract awarded to Lockheed Martin in January 2006, TMOS includes an advanced Air Force network that will provide a new level of high-bandwidth, secure, global communications to transform the speed of command and provide a vital information link to deployed mobile forces. TMOS will be one of the key enablers for the American vision and doctrine of Network Centric Warfare.
