The Inmedius S1000D™ solution suite includes: Inmedius S1000D™ Manager, for archiving, managing and maintaining version control of S1000D™ documents; Inmedius AuthorPro, for creating and editing S1000D™ documents; Inmedius Interact, for viewing S1000D™ documents, and Inmedius Transition for processing and managing S1000D™ documents.

S1000D™ Manager uses sophisticated workflow technology to ensure that all authoring and content revisions are approved in accordance with an organization’s accepted business practices. Any changes to documents provide detailed, time-stamped audit trails. Manager also offers discrepancy reporting, where errors can be detected using the standard S1000D™ protocol.

Inmedius S1000D™ AuthorPro is an S1000D™ content-creation software solution with advanced features that provide an intuitive and powerful environment for professional S1000D™ authoring. AuthorPro ensures that S1000D™ documents are compliant to the required document specification, and AuthorPro allows for complete integration within any work environment. With AuthorPro, non-compliant S1000D™ data modules are prevented from being passed into a Common Source Data Base (CSDB).

Inmedius S1000D™ Interact is a browser-based S1000D™ viewer that offers authors the unique capability to rapidly view their S1000D™ publications. Interact works in tandem with Inmedius’ AuthorPro and S1000D™ Manager to provide automatic formatting of composite information for end-user display. Transition can convert many hundreds of source files into an interactive PDF by intelligently identifying and carrying over the REFDM information from source S1000D™ Data Modules and making them “live links” in PDFs. Secondly, Loose Leaf Management gives users the ability to create and manage Loose Leaf publications in a modern way while being able to deliver a traditional paper-based publication. Also, Transition has the ability to fully automate or semi-automate the conversion of older documents to new standards, e.g. from Mil. Spec to S1000D™. Finally, Transition comes with a number of extra tools that can assist technical publications department in rapid QA’ing and delivering of technical data to any user.
