Vektas Ltd., based in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, will operate as Inmedius United Kingdom. Inmedius United Kingdom brings extensive knowledge and expertise in management of technical publications, especially in “best practices” and “best authoring processes” for ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D™. Vektas’ new authoring tool will be renamed Inmedius AuthorPro, as part of Inmedius’ S1000D™ product suite. Vektas also brings unparalleled personnel expertise in the design and development of S1000D™ and ATA editing tools, including Mr. Ian Proudfoot (technical director for Vektas), an early creator of authoring and editing tools for S1000D™ and a widely recognized global expert. S1000D™ has already been deployed for test applications sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Defense’s Joint Strike Fighter development program, the F-117 and the Global Hawk unmanned drone now in use in Iraq.
