Inmedius names Gary L. Schaffer President & CEO
PITTSBURGH, PA — April 8, 2002 Inmedius, Inc. (www.inmedius.com), a provider of enterprise software solutions that improve fontline performance in distributed maintenance environments announced the appointment of Gary L. Schaffer as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Schaffer brings a blend of proven entrepreneurial and corporate skills to Inmedius, Inc. Most recently, Schaffer served as Vice President, Product and Market Management for MapInfo Corporation, a worldwide leader of Desktop and Enterprise Mapping and Spatial Software. In 1991, Schaffer founded On Target Mapping, and served as President until 1998 when the company was acquired by MapInfo.
"After a nationwide search conducted by Heidrich & Struggles, one of the country's largest executive search firms, we selected Gary for the position because of his proven ability to lead organizations forward.
