Inmedius® Horizon™ v2.1 Released
Features Document Bursting with Efficiency & Performance Enhancements
Horizon is a complete business process-driven system for managing a technical publications department. The latest release features a significantly enhanced user interface and improvements to usability, efficiency and system performance. Bursting – the ability to break up a large document into multiple smaller documents – is a major new feature included in the August 2009 release.

Bursting functionality allows a document to be managed as a composite document, with portions to be reused as separate subdocument objects.
Horizon’s new bursting functionality allows the management of very large XML/SGML documents, by automatically breaking them down or decomposing them, into smaller subdocuments that can be separately assigned and reassembled when necessary.
Horizon v2.1 has also been updated for seamless compatibility with Inmedius S1000Dmanager™ v3.0 and includes other features and enhancements requested by our clients. View Horizon v2.1 Highlights
