LFK GmbH to Link LSAR Data & S1000D™ Documentation
Inmedius Solutions to Support Legacy & New Projects for Aerospace & Defense
“LFK has been using the European Aeronautic Defence and Space (EADS) data base for some time, but needed a new system to support the newer versions of the Specification,” stated Wilko Halder, Project Manager Supportability, LFK. “The Inmedius solution was chosen for its ease of use and the fact that numerous Medium Extended Air Defence System (MEADS) sites have already implemented the software with excellent results."

“Linking S1000D technical documentation to LSAR data usually involves sharing raw information and paper back and forth between engineering and publication authors” explained Michael Ingledew, Vice President, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Inmedius, Inc. “The practice today is error prone and inefficient, and makes it nearly impossible to manage updates and other changes if the links to the source data are not maintained. Inmedius S1000Dimpact™ eliminates duplication of effort with its balanced approach to data integration. The software facilitates both control and flexibility, allowing each system to work independently but in conjunction with each other.”
