Clients Chat Live in New Forums
Inmedius has established Forums for each of our software offerings in the Customer Portal, where licensed product users can post or respond to messages with other Inmedius clients. The postings are monitored by Inmedius support staff and open for client discussion worldwide. This expands support hours as peers in the same or similar time zones may post real time responses. Inquires can be product specific or more general questions about S1000D and other topics. It’s a live community help center where users can share tips and success stories, or discuss product features and enhancements, experiences, and projects. |

Inmedius to Host 2nd Annual User Conference
Hilton Head Island, SC, USA
Inmedius clients from around the globe, representing 5 continents, will gather for a unique opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations, share best practices, discuss industry trends, and learn about product enhancements and future releases, while collaborating with Inmedius staff and colleagues. For the convenience of our customers, the event is being held on Oct. 11, 2009, in between the ATA Fall Product Support Conference and the S1000D Forum on Hilton Head Island, SC. Last year’s well-attended event was held in Budapest, Hungary in conjunction with the ATA e-Business and S1000D Forums.

Inmedius S1000Dinteract™ v3.2 Released
Features Change Markers, Enhanced Ease of Use
S1000Dinteract is a browser-based system allowing local users to view and share S1000D® documentation on a standalone basis, or while connected to a server over an Intranet or the Internet. The maintenance release has been updated for improved ease of use and seamless integration with S1000Dmanager™ v3.2. A new Change Marker feature is included in the June 2009 software release that displays alterations, based on attributes, from previous versions of documentation.

A Change Bar indicates the location of information changes which are highlighted on screen.
When the user receives a documentation update, he can easily check to see if the task has been altered and then incorporate those modifications into the work process. Within the new documentation, the user can view the task and select an option that clearly indicates any data that has changed from a previous version. Users have the option to show or hide changes, with the ‘Reason for Change’ displayed if provided by the author. View Interact v3.2 Highlights

Multi-User Comments Improve Efficiency
The Quality Assurance solution for S1000D documents, Review streamlines the comment and approval process in a complete, closed-loop system. The June 2009 release supports the Internet browser Mozilla FireFox® on Linux installations, and is integrated seamlessly with S1000Dmanager v3.2. A key time-saving feature is the ability to view multi-user comments, which eliminates duplicating remarks and repetitive explanations.
