Inmedius First to Deliver Issue 4.0 Support
Editing & Management Capabilities, Seamless Integration
Inmedius S1000Dmanager™ and S1000DauthorPro™ Version 3.2 software releases provide initial editing and management support for the S1000D® Issue 4.0 schemas, and have been updated concurrently for seamless compatibility.

“The tags have been completely revised in Issue 4.0 of the Specification, requiring significant updating to editing and management systems,” explained Sean Rushing, Inmedius Director of S1000D Products and Services. “The inherent architectural design of the Inmedius S1000D Publishing Suite™ provides the flexibility necessary to quickly and easily adapt to Specification requirements. Inmedius is the first software developer to implement support for Issue 4.0. We will continue to more forward aggressively in extending the number of document types supported and to address additional, and more complex capabilities like publishing.” View Press Release
Inmedius S1000D Process Editor Introduced
Visualize & Manage Process Data
Inmedius demonstrated its new S1000D Process Editor in the U.S.A. at last week’s AIA Technical Publications Workshop to rave reviews. The new software tool supports the Specification’s standard Process Data Module elements with advanced visualization technology and drag-and-drop support.
With the new Editor, users create and maintain the data structures of the Process DM in order to read and write a compliant data file.
System users can quickly understand complex paths through a procedure to author XML data in an easy to use, workflow or dialog tree type environment. The architectural design provides access to nearly every attribute and structure. Editing is as simple as rearranging process icons. |
