reinisch AG Selects Inmedius™ to Support Airbus® Programs
Employs Flexible Deployment Technologies
Provides Superior Authoring Services
reinisch AG of Karlsruhe, Germany has implemented the Inmedius S1000D Publishing Suite™ to service the complex documentation projects of its clients with contracts supporting Airbus® programs. The technical publication firm designs and creates communications involved in the operation, maintenance and repair of aircraft, as well as components and machines for aerospace and aviation.
“Utilizing the Inmedius software allows reinisch to provide superior authoring services to smaller-scale suppliers with S1000D project requirements for the Airbus A350, A380 and A400M programs,” stated Manfred Schneebecke, Business Unit Manager, Aerospace and Defense. “Many of the Airbus program vendors we service supply only a small amount of S1000D data, and typically do not have the staff, expertise or budget to produce highly-complex Data Modules on their own. Utilizing the flexible, Web-based deployment technologies of the Inmedius software, allows reinisch to host, manage and deliver their S1000D Data Modules in a timely manner, on our servers, located throughout Europe. Our clients benefit from the latest functionality, without the need to install and maintain costly programs.”
“Deploying the S1000D Publishing Suite adds efficiency and cost savings for both reinisch and their customers,” explained Michael Ingledew, Inmedius Vice President, Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA). “Information availability and quality are significantly enhanced, while processes are simplified and streamlined.”

Generation21™ LMShare™
Extends Core LMS to Isolated Learners & Groups
Inmedius announced the general release of Generation21™ LMShare™, a new technology that extends core Learning Management System (LMS) functions to protected and isolated environments, remote locations, and out-of-network individuals or smaller learner groups. A standalone adjunct to any enterprise-class LMS, LMShare replicates essential functionality of the parent LMS. It provides access to training material, administrative tasks, and coursework in a completely secure setting, while being highly flexible to the needs of learners. Fully-integrated, data is transferred automatically, or on demand, when LMShare is connected to the parent LMS. With its built-in calendar, LMShare facilitates a comprehensive learning experience anywhere in the world.
“A ship at sea provides a great example of LMShare’s capabilities,” said John Stearns, Inmedius VP of Learning. “With an on-ship network available, the training officer manages a full learning program for several shipboard departments that allows him to schedule sessions, include curriculums, and obtain reports. The three-level hierarchy supports ILT and enables all crew members to complete online training -- completely isolated from the ship line’s parent LMS. Once in port, each crew member’s learning history is uploaded to the parent LMS so that all training records are complete.”
