Software Developer / Technical Staff Member
Inmedius drives operational performance through applications that capture, create, manage and deploy technical information assets. We developed the core of our software while delivering advanced logistics support to aircraft technicians maintaining the U.S. Navy's most sophisticated strike fighter, the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet. We are looking to expand our technical staff with individuals to perform the following tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform programming changes to the Inmedius products used by the F/A-18 aircraft maintenance system.
• Perform system integration testing of a complex F/A-18 aircraft maintenance system.
• Perform system trouble-shooting and maintenance of deployed Inmedius products on operational, deployed servers; includes IT security upgrades and maintenance, and maintaining data communications among all servers including Web Services between top-tier servers.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science or Computer Studies.
• Strong understanding of HTML, XML, XSL and JavaScript
• Experience with Java Programming, JDBC and Servlets.
• Experience supporting web-based enterprise applications.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle Database Administration (9i and 10g experience preferred).
• Experience with Sybase database system preferred.
• Experience with Information Assurance preferred.
• Experience with Application Server and Web Server Administration including JBoss Application Server and IIS Web Server.
• Experience with Windows Server and Client Administration including Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 Server and Professional.
• Strong understanding of networking including firewalls, proxies, routers and common network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, Oracle SQL*Net, DNS, NETBIOS, DHCP).
• Understanding of network security issues and Public Key Infrastructure including Client and Server certificates, SSL configuration, etc.
• Experience in formal application testing including the development of test plans and test procedures
• Strong telephone and written communication skills
• United States citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, due to contract requirements.
