Senior Java J2EE Developer

We are looking to expand our technical team with a qualified Senior Java J2EE Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement of large J2EE projects and/or major software products and systems.
• Assist in defining architecture requirements and establish standards for design and development.
• Participate in day-to-day development cycle (requirements, design, develop) of products.
• Review and approve designs of other developers.
• Provide 2nd-level customer support for various products.
• Serve as primary technical resource to development team.
• Technical team lead determines individual assignments for technical team
• Interact with customers regarding problem solving and support.

Requirements:

• BS in computer science (or equivalent study) and 8+ years work experience, OR Masters in computer science and 5+ years work experience.
• 3 years experience functioning as a software architect.
• Comprehensive experience with Java/J2EE programming language.
• Java Programmer Certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of one or more platforms and operating systems.
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.
• Experience with Windows and Unix development environments.
• Experience with SQL and data access using relational DBMS.
• Experience with Java application frameworks, JDBC and Java Servlets.
• Experience with XML and JavaScript.
• Experience with JBoss and UML is a plus.
