Go Beyond the DTD to Insure Quality Standards

Use Advisor to go beyond the simple, structural validation that a Document Type Definition (DTD) or Schema parser does, and give your customer the SGML and XML content they want and expect. Advisor is completely configurable to your Quality Assurance rules, and features a broad library of validation templates that will guarantee authored SGML and XML content has the data your business needs defined.

Advisor allows non-technical users to create SGML or XML business rules, enabling rapid validation of documents to an organization’s standards. From simple to complex rule checking, implement a standard without any coding, yet allow yourself the security that SGML and XML documents maintain and pass the quality standard you want to have enforced.

Integrated S1000D BREX Checking

In addition to ensuring the quality of its SGML and XML documents through the use of extensive quality validation rules, Advisor is the first of its kind to integrate S1000D Business Rules Exchange (BREX) with authoring and management functions. This combination of the Business Rules and BREX engine allows for the validation of project and internal rule sets along with the unique S1000D requirements. Users can read and export BREX data from the CSDB client, with project BREX lists available to integrated authoring.
